Sanitation & Recycling
The City of Bovey supplies solid waste collection. At this time there is no recycling program in place. We are asking residents that wish to recycle to sign up at City Hall or call us to sign up at (218) 245-1633. Waste Management will offer curbside recycling for $5.99 per month but we must have at least 100 residents sign up. As of 2/14/2019 we only have 37 residents signed up. Another option is you can haul your own recycling to the landfill located approximately one mile up Scenic Hwy 7 off US Hwy 169. (Map) Everyone within the city limits is required to either have garbage collection or haul your own garbage, no stockpiling is allowed.
Trash collection is every Tuesday but may be delayed or rescheduled for various reasons. If this happens an alert will be broadcast to inform residents. Subscribe to our alert system on the home page today. If assistance is needed or you have questions for the city, please do not hesitate to contact us.
For questions specific to trash or recycling pick up, please call the Public Works Department at (218) 245-1633
